Jill Cahill, LPC, Psychotherapist
Jill Cahill is a Licensed Professional Counselor and High School Counselor. She received her Master’s in K-12 School Counseling from the University of Scranton. Jill has worked in middle and high schools with pre-teens and adolescents focusing on personal, social, academic, and career planning issues. She has created and run groups for adolescent girls struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, poor body image, and school phobia. In addition, Jill has extensive experience advocating for students with physical and intellectual disabilities as well as learning disabilities. In private practice, Jill works with adolescents, adults, and families struggling with anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, chronic health conditions, school/work difficulties, and marital/relationship issues. Her approach combines cognitive behavioral, acceptance, supportive, and insight focused techniques. She is also trained in Exposure Response Prevention and has worked extensively with adolescents and adults struggling with OCD. Jill’s goal for her patients is to set them up for long term success by giving them the tools and support needed to take risks and thrive.
